These beans from the Semuliki Forest in Uganda are Direct Trade and uncertified organic.
 
The initial deep chocolate flavor quickly yields to secondary notes of warming spices (cinnamon and nutmeg) along with a slight tinge of berry. Still plenty sweet throughout.

  • Single Source 70% Cocoa Chocolate. Two Ingredients: Cocoa Beans & Sugar

    Produced in a facility that also processes nut products.

  • To improve chocolate's shelf-life, store in a cool, dark place. Refrigeration is okay, but allow chocolate to come back to room temperature prior to enjoying. Extended periods of refrigeration may change the chocolate’s texture.

    Our Origin dark chocolate can keep 6-8 months. Our Destination chocolates (because of the addition of fruits and nuts) are best enjoyed within 2-4 months months. But we hope you won’t wait that long!
