A bold chocolate and one of our personal favorites. The trees these beans come from are an heirloom variety and are allowed to grow in their natural state (not in a plantation setting). The result is a lower yield per tree and beans that are much smaller than others we receive. But we think that intensifies the flavor. Notes of tart cherry and a slightly more acidic overall profile makes this an easy one to pick out in a lineup.
